Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, also called Gugu Mbatha-Raw is a famous British stage and screen actress that gained fame after she appeared in the "Doctor Who' (a British science-fiction TV show) series aired on the BBC channel. Gugu was famous for her character Tish Jones on the show on BBC. The character was daughter of the main character called Martha Jones. Gugu's audience adored her spontaneity and was soon getting ready for a long-lasting acting career. Her other stage and TV productions from Britain include other productions. Critics have praised her for her performance of "Belle" (2013), an English period drama as well as "Beyond the lights", a romantic comedy. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcasted her stand-up show. In 2010 she was informed that she was to host at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. The only female host of the VMAs following Roseanne Bar.
