Emily Procter

 

Emily Mallory Procter (born October 8th 1998) is an American actress and activist. She was Ainsley Hayes's role in The West Wing, a NBC political drama (2000-2002; 2006) and also played Det. Calleigh Duquesne in a CBS police procedural show called CSI: Miami (2002–2012).



 



 Early life



 Procter was born on October 8 in 1968. At the age of a newborn, she was adopted by William Procter (a general practitioner) and Barbara Jones (a volunteer worker). Procter was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was just three years of age when her parents divorced. She has an older brothernamed Whit and is adopted.



 



 Ravenscroft School was where Procter went to school in Raleigh. While at East Carolina University, she became a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and was a weather anchor for WNCT-TV in Greenville, North Carolina, later graduating with degrees in dance and journalism.
